China’s A00 aluminium ingot price slips by RMB40/t to RMB 17,840/t; Aluminium alloy (A356) price drops by RMB50/t

China’s A00 aluminium ingot price has dropped by RMB 40 per tonne to close at RMB 17,840 per tonne as of Thursday, July 21. The average price for the same is expected to range between RMB 17,820 per tonne and RMB 17,860 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a discount price of RMB 30 per tonne and a premium price of RMB 10 per tonne.

The price of A00 aluminium ingot has decreased in all the major Chinese provinces. As per the SMM data, the price in Wuxi and Chongqing has descended by RMB 40 per tonne and RMB 60 per tonne to peg at RMB 17,840 per tonne. On the same day, the price in Gongyi and Foshan has also fallen by RMB 10 per tonne and RMB 30 per tonne to halt at RMB 17,810 per tonne and RMB 17,780 per tonne. The A00 aluminium ingot price in Hangzhou and Shenyang has dropped by 40 per tonne to come in at RMB 17,880 per tonne and RMB 17,860 per tonne. In Tianjin and Linyi, the price has plunged by RMB 50 per tonne and RMB 70 per tonne to score at RMB 17,870 per tonne and RMB 17,890 per tonne.

The high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and the high purity aluminium (99.996%) price both has plummeted by RMB 100 per tonne to stand at RMB 25,800 per tonne and RMB 26,800 per tonne.

The price of aluminium alloy (A356) has declined by RMB 50 per tonne to halt at RMB 18,950 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to stand between RMB 18,800 per tonne and RMB 19,100 per tonne. The aluminium alloy (ADC12) price and (A380) price has remained restrained at RMB 17,700 per tonne and RMB 18,700 per tonne. The Australian alumina FOB price has inched down by US$1 per tonne to halt at US$332 per tonne.
