China’s A00 aluminium ingot price shrinks by RMB100/t; Aluminium alloy (A356) price also loses RMB100/t

A00 aluminium ingot price has recorded a downfall of RMB 100 per tonne, resting at RMB 18,740 per tonne, as the Shanghai Metals Market recorded on Monday, December 19. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 18,720 per tonne and RMB 18,760 per tonne, with spot contracts trading at premium prices of RMB 100 per tonne and RMB 140 per tonne.
The provinces in China all recorded plummeting prices today, with the aluminium price falling the highest in Tianjin by RMB 130 per tonne to rest at RMB 18,760 per tonne, followed by RMB 105 per tonne slump in Wuxi, arriving at RMB 18,735 per tonne. The prices of aluminium in Hangzhou, Shenyang and Linyi have experienced a uniform degradation of RMB 100 per tonne, closing at RMB 18,750 per tonne, RMB 18,710 per tonne and RMB 18,740 per tonne. In Gongyi, the aluminium price shed RMB 90 per tonne, stooping at RMB 18,590 per tonne, while the price of aluminium in Chongqing has lost RMB 80 per tonne, stopping at RMB 18,790 per tonne. Lastly, in Foshan, the aluminium price declined the lowest, closing at RMB 18,710 per tonne with an RMB 30 per tonne drop.
In China, the domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has plunged by RMB 30 per tonne to stand at RMB 19,303 per tonne on Monday, December 19.
The prices of high-purity aluminium (99.99%) and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) have both decreased by RMB 100 per tonne, closing at RMB 26,700 per tonne and RMB 27,700 per tonne.
The price of aluminium alloy (A356) has dipped by RMB 100 per tonne to stop at RMB 19,900 per tonne, with averages ranging between RMB 19,700 per tonne and RMB 20,100 per tonne.
The price of aluminium powder in China has tumbled by RMB 0.10 per kg to settle at RMB 20.30 per tonne, with average prices hovering between RMB 20.20 per kg and RMB 20.40 per kg.
