China’s A00 aluminium ingot price grows by RMB90/t; Alumina price inches down by RMB2/t
On Wednesday, October 26, A00 aluminium ingot price in China ascended by RMB 90 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,640 per tonne, with the average prices ranging between RMB 18,620 per tonne and RMB 18,660 per tonne. The spot contract price is expected to be traded at a discount price of RMB 20 per tonne to RMB 20 per tonne.
The prices in Shenyang and Tianjin have hiked by RMB 140 per tonne and RMB 110 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,640 per tonne and RMB 18,690 per tonne. In Foshan, the A00 aluminium ingot price grew by RMB 100 per tonne to rest at RMB 18,800 per tonne. On the same day, the prices in Linyi and Wuxi climbed up by RMB 90 per tonne and RMB 80 per tonne to peg at RMB 18,640 per tonne and RMB 18,610 per tonne. As per the SMM data, both Gongyi and Chongqing experienced growth of RMB 70 per tonne to halt at RMB 18,590 per tonne and RMB 18,770 per tonne. In Hangzhou, the price dipped by RMB 90 per tonne to reach RMB 18,580 per tonne.
The average alumina spot price in China has inched down by RMB 2 per tonne to clock at RMB 2,794 per tonne. In Guizhou, the price has slipped by RMB 10 per tonne to stand at RMB 2,740 per tonne. The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has shot up by RMB 107 per tonne to peg at RMB 19,410 per tonne.
The price of high-purity aluminium (99.99%) and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) has surged by RMB 100 per tonne to stop at RMB 26,900 per tonne and RMB 27,900 per tonne.
According to the SMM data, the Australian alumina FOB price has climbed up by US$ 9 per tonne to settle at US$319 per tonne. The aluminium powder price has inched up by RMB 0.1 per kg to come in at RMB 20.6 per kg, with the average prices standing between RMB 20.5 per kg to RMB 20.7 per kg.
