China’s A00 aluminium ingot price goes RMB10/t downhill on March 22; Low carbon aluminium price loses RMB31/t

A00 aluminium ingot price has slumped by RMB 10 per tonne, officially closing at RMB 18,100 per tonne, as the Shanghai Metals Market recorded on March 22. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 18,080 per tonne and RMB 18,120 per tonne, with spot contracts trading at discount prices of RMB 100 per tonne and RMB 60 per tonne.
The eight major provinces in China have witnessed declining prices today, with the aluminium ingot price dropping the highest in Foshan by RMB 20 per tonne, officially closing at RMB 18,250 per tonne. Other than that, provinces like Chongqing, Gongyi and Shenyang have shed RMB 10 per tonne, halting at RMB 18,260 per tonne, RMB 18,040 per tonne and 18,140 per tonne. Incidentally, in Tianjin and Linyi, the aluminium price, after experiencing a price plunge of RMB 10 per tonne, officially closed at RMB 18,150 per tonne each. In Wuxi, the aluminium price has seen a loss of RMB 5 per tonne, with the official rate being fixed at RMB 18,090 per tonne. Only in Hangzhou has the aluminium price refrained from any measurable change remaining stuck at RMB 18,130 per tonne.
China's low carbon aluminium price has been on a downward trend, diving by RMB 31 per tonne to rest at RMB 18,832 per tonne.
The prices of high-purity aluminium (99.99%) and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) have not marked any alteration on March 22, Wednesday.
The price of aluminium powder in China has not changed, being stagnant at RMB 19.80 per kg.
