China’s A00 aluminium ingot price glides up by RMB260/t; Low carbon aluminium acquires RMB200/t

A00 aluminium ingot price has shot up by RMB 260 per tonne, closing at RMB 19,250 per tonne, as the Shanghai Metals Market recorded on Friday, November 18. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 19,230 per tonne and RMB 19,2 70 per tonne, with spot contracts trading at a discount price of RMB10 per tonne and a premium price of RMB 30 per tonne.

The provinces in China have witnessed augmenting prices today, with aluminium price in Linyi recording the highest rise of RMB 280 per tonne, closing at RMB 19,330 per tonne, followed by RMB 270 per tonne hike in Gongyi and Tianjin to settle at RMB 19,210 per tonne and RMB 19,230 per tonne, respectively. The aluminium price in Shenyang has gained RMB 260 per tonne to halt at RMB 19,200 per tonne, whereas there has been an RMB 255 per tonne spike in Wuxi to settle at RMB 19,260 per tonne. The aluminium prices in Chongqing and Hangzhou both have escalated by RMB 230 per tonne, resting at RMB 19,350 per tonne and RMB 19,260 per tonne. In Foshan, the aluminium price has gone RMB 200 per tonne up the graph, closing at RMB 19,310 per tonne.

In China, the domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has glided up by RMB 200 per tonne to stand at RMB 19,911 per tonne on Friday, November 18.

The prices of high-purity aluminium (99.99%) and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) both have jumped up RMB 200 per tonne, closing at RMB 27,400 per tonne and RMB 28,400 per tonne.

The aluminium alloy (A356) price has soared by RMB 250 per tonne arriving at RMB 20,500 per tonne. The average prices are likely to range between RMB 20,400 per tonne and RMB 20,600 per tonne, says SMM. The prices of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) have also gained RMB 150 per tonne, resting at RMB 19,400 per tonne and RMB 20,400 per tonne, respectively.

The price of alumina powder in China has elevated by RMB 0.30 per kg, with the official price closing at RMB 21 per kg.
