China’s A00 aluminium ingot price gains RMB120/t; Alumina price loses RMB1/t

On Thursday, June 6, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price gained RMB 120 per tonne to settle at RMB 21,190 per tonne. The average prices were between RMB 21,170 per tonne and RMB 21,210 per tonne. According to the data, the spot contract prices may be between RMB 90 per tonne and RMB 50 per tonne.

Region-wise A00 aluminium ingot price change

On the same day, the prices in Linyi and Hangzhou have grown by RMB 130 per tonne to clock at RMB 21,200 per tonne and RMB 21,230 per tonne. In Shenyang and Tianjin, the domestic aluminium ingot prices have hiked by RMB 120 per tonne to peg at RMB 21,120 per tonne and RMB 21,210 per tonne.  As per the SMM data, the prices in Gongyi and Chongqing have ascended by RMB 110 per tonne to arrive at RMB 21,120 per tonne and RMB 21,140 per tonne. In Foshan and Wuxi, the prices have grown by RMB 100 per tonne to stand at RMB 21,080 per tonne and RMB 21,190 per tonne.

Other prices

The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has expanded by RMB 85 per tonne to peg at RMB 22,060 per tonne. The domestic price of high-purity aluminium (99.99%) and high-quality aluminium (99.996%) has expanded by RMB 100 per tonne to dock at RMB 28,600 per tonne and RMB 29,600 per tonne.   According to the Shanghai Metals Market (SMM) analysis, the alumina price has lost RMB 1 per tonne to reach RMB 3,905 per tonne, followed by a fall of RMB 5 per tonne in Shandong where it settled at RMB 3,885 per tonne.

The Australian alumina FOB price has expanded by US$5 per tonne to reach US$483 per tonne. On the same day, the price of aluminium alloy (A356) has hiked by RMB 100 per tonne to settle at RMB 21,700 per tonne, with the average prices standing between RMB 21,500 per tonne and RMB 21,900 per tonne. The price of aluminium powder has inched up by RMB 0.1 per kg to settle at RMB 23.9 per kg.
