
According to the Shanghai Metals Market, A00 aluminium ingot price has extended the downfall, although slower than on December 21, to stand at RMB 16,350 per tonne, as of Tuesday, December 22. The price today has fallen by RMB 180 per tonne compared with the decline of RMB 430 per tonne on Monday. The average aluminium ingot prices are expected to range between RMB 16,330 per tonne and RMB 16,370 per tonne, with the spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 220-240 per tonne, down by RMB 10 per tonne from the previous day.

A00 aluminium ingot price in Linyi has seen the highest downfall of RMB 230 per tonne to RMB 16,350 per tonne, followed by the decline of RMB 200 per tonne in Foshan to RMB 16,460 per tonne on December 22. In Chongqing and Wuxi, A00 aluminium ingot price has shrunk by RMB 185 per tonne and RMB 180 per tonne to stand at RMB 16,340 per tonne and RMB 16,350 per tonne, respectively, while in Shenyang, the price has decreased by RMB 175 per tonne to RMB 16,345 per tonne. In Gongyi, Hangzhou, and Tianjin, A00 aluminium ingot price has plunged by RMB 150 per tonne to come in at RMB 16,170 per tonne, RMB 16,380 per tonne, and 16,370 per tonne, respectively.
The price of aluminium alloy (A356) has decreased by RMB 200 per tonne to RMB 17,050 per tonne on December 22, backed on the decline in A00 aluminium ingot price, found SMM. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 17,000 per tonne and RMB 17,100 per tonne.
However, aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have declined slower by RMB 50 per tonne to RMB 17,350 per tonne and RMB 18,250 per tonne, respectively.
Among the primary aluminium input costs, aluminium fluoride price has dwindled by RMB 100 per tonne to RMB 8,800 per tonne, according to SMM. The price of aluminium powder has shrunk by RMB 0.10 per kg to RMB 19.95 per kg.
