Chinalco raises alumina price to stabilize long-term contract

...Aluminum Corporation of China (Chinalco) announced that it raised spot alumina price to 3000 Yuan per ton, the growth reached 3.4%. The revised price quickly widened the gap with non-Chinalco alumina price. Industry advisory bodies Aladdin said the increase of alumina price aimed to reduce the hanged-upside-down price diferrence between spot price and long-term contract price.
