
In a recent development, Chinalco, a leading aluminium producer, has announced a significant change in the leadership structure of its Guizhou enterprises. The decision was made during a cadre meeting held on September 8 at the ChalCO Guizhou Enterprise.

The meeting saw the presence of high-ranking officials and key personnel, including Chinalco Assets Party secretary and Chairman Zhou Lihong, Li Wenjun (General Manager of Human Resources Department of Chinalco Assets), Comrade He Fei (formerly the General Manager of Guizhou Aluminum Works Co., LTD.), and various members and representatives from Guizhou Aluminum Factory, Guizhou Hualin, Guizhou Huajin, and Guizhou Branch.
During the meeting, Li Wenjun read out relevant documents from both the Chalco Assets Party Committee and the Chalco Shares Party Committee. Following careful consideration and research, it was decided that Comrade He Fei would assume the role of Party secretary and executive director of Guizhou Aluminum Works Co., LTD., and also become the general manager of Guizhou Branch of ChalCO., LTD. This decision meant that Comrade He Fei would no longer serve as the general manager of Guizhou Aluminum Works Co., LTD.
Zhou Lihong emphasised Comrade He Fei's strong political stance, exceptional political qualities, and extensive experience in enterprise production, operation, and management. He also praised He Fei's ability to handle complex issues comprehensively. Since assuming the role at GUI Aluminum, He Fei successfully navigated the challenges posed by the pandemic and consistently improved various business indicators, including production and stock business operations. Zhou Lihong noted that He Fei's strategic thinking and extensive management experience had been instrumental in seizing strategic opportunities and positioning the enterprise for future development.
In response, He Fei expressed full support for the organisation's decision and committed to following its directives. He highlighted his dedication to fulfilling the "first responsibility" of the party secretary, ensuring alignment with the ideology and decisions of the Party central Committee, and contributing to Chinalco's role in building enterprises. He pledged to work closely with the team and employees to meet the challenging governance objectives of Guizhou Aluminum Plant and achieve the optimisation goals of Guizhou Branch. He Fei also stressed the importance of cultivating and strengthening the main business while maintaining stability in auxiliary operations.
He concluded by highlighting his commitment to upholding the principles of "refreshing breeze" through his actions. He vowed to perform his duties as a "monitor," uphold democratic centralism, promote unity within the team, and harness the potential of cadres and employees at all levels. He aimed to create a positive and inclusive business environment characterized by honesty and simplicity.
The leadership change marks a significant step in the ongoing development and growth of Chinalco's Guizhou enterprises, with Comrade He Fei poised to steer the organisation towards a promising future.
