China to export more semi-fabricated aluminium in near-term

China's exports of semi-fabricated aluminium products will rise in the near-term as delivery premiums have stabilized and increased in consuming markets, Macquarie Bank head of commodities research Colin Hamilton said on Thursday.
"China is going to be exporting deflationary pressures to the global aluminium market for quite a while now," Hamilton said in a presentation at the Platts Aluminum Symposium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
