China's aluminum alloy wheel exports crossed 334,000 in H1 2013

The Chinese exports of aluminum alloy wheel during the first six months of the year totaled 334,000 tons, according to data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers Wheel Committee.
According to data, the value of exports during the first half of the year amounted to $ 1.67 billion at an export unit price of $5/kg. Out of the total 742 alloy wheel exporters in the country, the top 40 firms accounted for $ 1.359 billion export revenue. This constitutes 81.4% of the total export value. The first 100 enterprises’ export revenue amounted to $ 1.604 billion, thereby accounting for 96% of the total export revenue.
The country exported 57,800 tons of aluminum alloy wheels during June this year, which is 3.34% lower when compared to the total exports of 59,800 tons during the previous month of May. The exports of aluminum alloy wheel generated $ 288 million in June, which again is 3.35% lower when compared with the $298 million during May. The per unit export price in June was $4.98/kg which is lesser than $4.99/kg during the previous month.
