Already troubled Aluminium markets due to rise of inventories will find tough to maintain a stable trend after the news that China auto sales declined by 2.4% in the month of November. China produced a total of 1695000 vehicles in November and sold a total of 1656000 vehicles. The first 11 months of China auto sales depicted a modest growth.

China Automobile Manufacturers Association said that the total production of vehicles in Jan-Nov 2011 was 16728300 units, sales during the period was 16815600 units. This marked an increase of 2 and 2.5% in production and sales from a year ago period.

Aluminum is majorly used in automobile production. The decline in the automobiles is expected to remain in the December period as well; this will be because of the demand slowdown on lower liquidity. LME Aluminium warehouse stocks have been continuously growing. The warehouse stocks have increased by 13% or 550500 tons to 4825475 tons in December.
