Aluminum producer Century Aluminum Co. said Thursday that its second-quarter net income jumped as the company shipped more aluminum than it did a year earlier.
Revenue climbed 27 percent to $366.3 million from $287.9 million a year earlier. Analysts polled by FactSet were hoping for $365 million.
