Bauxite price in Henan drops RMB10/t; A00 ingot price registers a decline

The average Bauxite (4.5≤Al/Si＜5.5) price in Henan stood at RMB430 per tonne on Monday, 15 April 2019, down RMB10 per tonne from RMB440 per tonne. The average price is expected to range between RMB390-470 per tonne. Prices of bauxite remain unchanged in all the three major China markets (Shanxi, Guangxi and Guizhou).

The average Bauxite CIF price increased to US$45.50 per tonne as on April 15. The average price is expected to hover between US$45 per tonne and US$46 per tonne.

Australian alumina FOB price stood at US$380 per tonne, down USD15 per tonne.

A00 aluminium ingot price in China decreased to RMB13820 per tonne today. Spot aluminium contract is likely to be traded at discounts of RMB20 per tonne to premiums of RMB20 per tonne. The average price is expected to range between RMB13800 per tonne and RMB13840 per tonne.

Aluminium ingot price in the East Wuxi and Hangzhou increased RMB25 per tonne and RMB5 per tonne to stand at RMB13855 per tonne and RMB13860 per tonne respectively. Ingot price in the South and North stood at RMB13830 per tonne and RMB 13850 per tonne today.
