Average spot alumina prices in moves further up on Sept 11, A00 ingot drops across all market

Spot alumina prices in China moves further up on Sept 11 throughout all the major markets. According to Shanghai Metals Market Statistics, the average spot alumina price has been rising steady from RMB 2885/tonne on September 1. Average alumina price for the month of September till date stands at RMB 3005/tonne. On September 11, Monday, the average alumina price stands at RMB 3106/tonne.

Today’s spot alumina prices in the domestic markets are shown in the table below:

Alumina price from large scale alumina enterprises too is on upward track through August and September.  On September 11, Monday, Chalco alumina price stands at RMB 3190/tonne and is expected to move within a range of RMB 3,170- 3,210/t.

In the import market; average alumina price stands at RMB 3050/tonne today, up from RMB 2990/tonne on September 8.

As for other raw materials are concerned, Average prebaked anode prices throughout all major China market remains unchanged today. Bauxite prices in Henan province have registered a slight rise today to RMB 415/t and RMB 320/t.

Both A00 Aluminium Ingot and aluminium alloys ingot prices in China have dropped on August 11 throughout all markets. The average price of A00 Aluminium Ingot would range between RMB 15,810 – 15,850/t and today’s price stands at RMB 15,830/t. Aluminum Alloy(A356) price drops to RMB 16,600/t today from RMB 16700/t on September 8.
