
The prices for A00 Aluminium Ingot for all provinces in the China markets (North, South, East, North-East and South-West) have registered a rise on July10 2017. The market is expecting a drop in aluminium output in China in July, as the major aluminium players are announcing output cuts. As predicted by SMM, China’s aluminium output would reach 3.19 million tonnes in July from 3.09 million tonnes in June, but the YoY growth is estimated to slow down to 19.3%.

As seen from the figure, on July 10 2017, the average prices for A00 Aluminium Ingot for North China market have increased from RMB 13,920/t on June 7 to RMB 13,950/t. A00 Aluminium Ingot at South China market jumped from RMB 13,995/t to RMB14,025/t on July 10. The South China market has crossed the RMB 14,000/t mark and the difference between South and North China market has increased to RMB 75. Among the domestic markets, the average price of A00 ingot remains the highest in South China market.
Southwest China market has also registered a significant jump in price from RMB 13,900/t to RMB 13,950/t on July 10.

A00 Aluminium Ingot in spot China market is trading at a discount range of RMB 140 - 100/t.
As on July 10, prices for Aluminium Alloy (A380) and Aluminium Alloy (A356) have registered no change.

As for the raw materials in the China market are concerned, bauxite and prebaked anode prices have registered no change today. Spot alumina remains flat and so are other prime materials. Aluminium fluoride prices in China remain static at RMB 9,100 per tonne, and Cryolite too remains unchanged at RMB 6,100 per tonne as on July 10.
