Average alumina spot price in China slumps by RMB 3/t to close at RMB 2,811/t; A00 aluminium ingot price closes at RMB 19,810/t

The average alumina spot price in China has opened the week on Monday, December 27, slipping by RMB 3 per tonne to come in at RMB 2,811 per tonne, found the Shanghai Metals Market.

For the same day in Henan and Shanxi, the price has remained unchanged to stand at RMB 2,815 per tonne, respectively. In Guangxi and Lianyungang as well, the price has remained restrained to peg at RMB 2,725 per tonne and RMB 2,875 per tonne, for the same day. On the other hand in Shandong and Guizhou, the price has gone down by RMB 30 per tonne and RMB 10 per tonne, to close at RMB 2,885 per tonne and RMB 2,790 per tonne, respectively. In Bayuquan as well the price has remained unchanged to come in at RMB 2,925 per tonne.

The Australian alumina FOB price has remained the same to clock in at RMB 345 per tonne.

The price of A00 aluminium ingot has slumped by RMB 260 per tonne to close at RMB 19,810 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to clock between 19,790 per tonne and RMB 19,830 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 100-60 per tonne, for the same day.

In Gongyi, Chongqing, and Linyi, the price has decreased by RMB 280 per tonne to close in at RMB 19,750 per tonne, RMB 19,840 per tonne and RMB 19,900 per tonne, respectively. In Foshan and Wuxi also the price has levelled down by RMB 300 per tonne and RMB 270 per tonne, for the same day. The prices for the same stood at RMB 19,870 per tonne and RMB 19,810 per tonne. The A00 aluminium ingot price in Hangzhou has descended by RMB 245 per tonne to close at RMB 19,840 per tonne. In Shenyang the price has plummeted by RMB 260 per tonne to come in at RMB 19,800 per tonne. In Tianjin, the price has decreased by RMB 250 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,810 per tonne.

The aluminium alloy price (ADC12) has gone down by RMB 150 per tonne to come in at RMB 20,450 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to orbit between RMB 20,350 per tonne and RMB 20,550 per tonne.

The aluminium alloy price (A356) has also decreased by RMB 300 per tonne to stand at RMB 21,750 per tonne, for the same day. The average price for the same is expected to stay between RMB 21,700 per tonne and RMB 21,800 per tonne. For (A380), the price has slipped by RMB 150 per tonne to peg at RMB 21,650 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to range between RMB 21,550 per tonne and RMB 21,750 per tonne.
