Average alumina spot price in China descends by RMB 2/t to close at RMB 2,809/t; A00 aluminium ingot price slips by RMB 30/t

On Tuesday, December 28, the average alumina spot price in China slumped by RMB 2 per tonne to close at RMB 2,809 per tonne, found the Shanghai Metals Market.

For the same day in Shanxi and Lianyungang, the price has remained restrained to come in at RMB 2,815 per tonne and RMB 2,875 per tonne, respectively. In Bayuquan as well the price has remained unchanged to total at RMB 2,925 per tonne. In Shandong, the price has gone down by RMB 15 per tonne to stand at RMB 2,870 per tonne. In Henan, the price has gone up by RMB 5 per tonne to peg at RMB 2,820 per tonne. The average alumina spot price in Guizhou and Guangxi has climbed down by RMB 10 per tonne and RMB 25 per tonne, for the same day. The prices for the same stood at RMB 2,780 per tonne and RMB 2,700 per tonne.

The Australian alumina FOB price has remained unchanged to total at RMB 345 per tonne.

A00 aluminium ingot price has descended by RMB 30 per tonne to close at RMB 19,780 per tonne, for the same day. The average price for the same is expected to stand between RMB 19,760 per tonne and RMB 19,800 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 80-40 per tonne.

In Hangzhou and Chongqing, the price has slipped by RMB 30 per tonne to register at RMB 19,810 per tonne, respectively. On the other hand in Tianjin and Gongyi, the price has moved down by RMB 30 per tonne to come in at RMB 19,780 per tonne and RMB 19,720 per tonne. In Foshan and Wuxi, the price has descended by RMB 40 per tonne and RMB 30 per tonne to stand at RMB 19,830 per tonne and RMB 19,780 per tonne, respectively. In provinces like Shenyang and Linyi, the price has gone down by RMB 50 per tonne and RMB 40 per tonne. The average price for the same has been recorded at RMB 19,750 per tonne and RMB 19,860 per tonne.

The aluminium alloy price (ADC12) remained unchanged to come in at RMB 20,450 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to orbit between RMB 20,350 per tonne and RMB 20,550 per tonne.

The aluminium alloy price (A356) has also remained the same to stand at RMB 21,750 per tonne, for the same day. The average price for the same is expected to stay between RMB 21,700 per tonne and RMB 21,800 per tonne. For (A380), the price remained restrained to peg at RMB 21,650 per tonne. The average price for the same is expected to range between RMB 21,550 per tonne and RMB 21,750 per tonne.
