ASI recognises Henan Zhongfu’s Zhanjie manufacturing facility with the CoC Standard V2 (2022) Certification

Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) announced that Henan Zhongfu High Precision Aluminium Products, located in Yulian Industrial Park, has attained the ASI Chain of Custody (CoC) Standard V2 (2022) Certification for its facility in Yulian Industrial Park, Zhanjie. This facility specializes in producing aluminium alloy sheets, strips, and foils, encompassing various production processes, including re-melting, casting, hot rolling, cold rolling, coating, slitting, and oxidation.

In April 2021, the China-based company was accredited with the Performance Standard Certification for the same manufacturing facility. Renowned for its quality, the company's aluminium products serve diverse industries, notably finding applications in packaging for fast-moving consumer goods such as beverage cans, aseptic packs, automotive lightweight materials, and consumer electronics.

The ASI CoC Standard V2 outlines criteria for establishing a Chain of Custody for materials as they move through various production and processing stages across different downstream sectors. By adhering to ASI's CoC Standard, practices verified at each link of the supply chain—certified under the ASI Performance Standard—are connected to materials generated by ASI Certified Entities.

This standard ensures that robust policies and due diligence procedures are in effect to detect and mitigate crucial issues such as corruption, human rights violations, and materials sourced from conflict-affected or high-risk regions within the supply chain and to promote responsible sourcing practices.
