The Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) has officially announced the successful certification of Fujian Nanping Aluminum Co., LTD. against the ASI Chain of Custody (CoC) Standard V2 (2022). This achievement follows the company's Performance Standard Certification for the same facilities in October 2023.

This certification encompasses its Foundry branch, Extrusion division, and Production department. These branches manufacture aluminium alloy round ingots, aluminium alloy profiles for construction, and industrial aluminium alloy profiles. Notably, the facility boasts an impressive annual production output of 200,000 tonnes.
“We congratulate Fujian Nanping Aluminum Co., LTD. on achieving Certification against ASI CoC Standard V2. Achieving this milestone demonstrates their commitment to transparency and supplier due diligence throughout their supply chain, and promoting responsible sourcing practices within the aluminium industry. This Certification supports the efforts of the diverse range of industries they serve, from construction and electronics to transportation and aerospace to contribute to a more sustainable future,” said Fiona Solomon, Chief Executive Officer at ASI.
The independent, third-party audit of the Fujian Nanping Aluminum Co., LTD. facility was conducted by DNV Business Assurance Services UK Ltd. The ASI CoC Standard V2 establishes requirements for a Chain of Custody for materials manufactured and processed across various downstream sectors in the value chain. This standard ensures that practices verified at each stage of the supply chain, certified under the ASI Performance Standard, are linked to materials produced by ASI Certified Entities.
“Nanping Aluminum Co., Ltd. is proud to receive ASI CoC certification and is proud to extend its commitment to a comprehensive and sustainable aluminum industry value chain. With ASI PS and CoC certification as the starting point, Nanping Aluminum will continue to promote product transformation and upgrading, build the whole industrial chain of responsibly sourced products, and work with customers, suppliers and other stakeholders to build a greener and more sustainable aluminum industry value chain,” added Zhou Ce, Chairman and General Manager of Fujian Nanping Aluminum Co., LTD.
