ASI certifies ProfilGruppen Extrusions AB for developing customised aluminium extrusions & components

On Tuesday, January 18, Aluminium Stewardship Initiative has announced that it successfully certified ProfilGruppen Extrusions AB against the Performance Standard Certification for the development and manufacture of customised aluminium extrusions and components at Aseda, Sweden plant. The products developed at the plant are destined for downstream sectors in industries like transport, electronics, and construction.

ProfilGruppen Extrusions AB produces extrusion of aluminium profiles at 4 production lines, anodizes for surface treatment, and further processes aluminium extrusions in the form of cutting, processing, bending, and stamping.

Aluminium extrusions offer important benefits compared to other metals, including conductivity of heat and electricity, high corrosion resistance, ease of maintenance and durability, strength and ductility.
