
According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), the United States imported 31,900 tonnes of US aluminium crude metals and alloys from United Arab Emirates (UAE) in October 2021, showing a month-on-month upward movement of 16,300 per tonne or by 104.48%. In September 2021, 15,600 tonnes of US aluminium crude metals and alloys were imported from UAE, showing a decline of 15,000 per tonne from 30,600 tonnes in August 2021.

On a year-on-year calculation, US aluminium crude metals and alloys imported from UAE in October climbed up by 8,600 tonnes or by 26.95% from 23,300 tonnes in October 2020.
From January to October, the imported aluminium crude metals and alloys from UAE clocked at 285,000 tonnes. For the same period last year, the amount registered at 273,000 tonnes.
As per the data shared by the USGS, the total amount of aluminium plates, sheets, bars, crude metals and alloys, and scrap, imported from UAE for October 2021 pegged at 32,400 tonnes, showing a year-on-year descend of 8,800 tonnes. The total amount for October 2020 clocked at 23,600 tonnes.
