The Covid-19 outbreak has been a tough challenge for most of the businesses. However, PT Djuara Aluminium Nusantara (Djuan), a vital aluminium distributor continues to seek solutions to keep growing amid this crisis and one of the ways out is by increasing partnerships with hundreds of aluminium craftsmen in producing various household needs.

Tarsisius Tukijan, President and Director, Djuara Aluminum Nusantara "After making several improvements, we encourage the company to continue to increase partnerships with craftsmen, especially around the Citeureup, Cibinong and several other areas in Bogor Regency, West Java."
PT Djuan is a distributor of aluminium for various purposes, ranging from household appliances to other industrial needs. The partnership with these craftsmen has been established for a long time, facilitated by the Dian Artha Rahardja Savings and Loan Cooperative (Kopdar). Most of the artisan partners are generally micro, small and medium scale enterprises (UMKM).
In early October, PT Djuan held a thanksgiving for the establishment of the company with its new board of directors. As well as preparing several incentives for craftsmen who consistently increase their purchases of aluminium.
The craftsmen process aluminium sheet into various household appliances such as pans, pan, ovens, and various other kitchen utensils.

According to Tukijan, the partnership pattern that has been built is to make it easier for craftsmen to buy raw materials to support the company in preparing sufficient stock. "The need for craftsmen is quite large, so we need an adequate supply so that their production is not hampered. We hope that the existing synergy will continue to be improved, "he explained.
PT Djuan Operations Director, Niko Pangemanan, added: “Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, it was not easy to maintain production to remain stable due to the drop in people's purchasing power. For that, several incentives will be provided to craftsmen who can achieve certain targets.”
"There are several incentives that have been prepared by the company to excite craftsmen, most of whom are MSMEs. This is intended to increase their production, "said Niko.
Tukijan added: “In addition to joint development with craftsman partners, his party also serves several requests for industrial scales, such as infrastructure and other manufacturing needs.”
"There are several industrial-scale requests that we have fulfilled outside Jabodetabek. In January we will develop a market in Semarang, Central Java. After that, several other regions will follow, "explained this Atmajaya University alumnus.
