Aluminium futures in India soften on lower global trend
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in October traded lower by 60 paise, or 0.52 per cent, to Rs 115.50 per kg, with a business turnover of 328 lots.
Similarly, the metal for delivery in September shed 55 paise, or 0.48 per cent, to Rs 115 per kg, with a business turnover of 3,628 lots.
Marketmen attributed the fall in aluminium futures to weak global trend and subdued demand in the spot market.
Meanwhile, aluminum slipped 1.1 per cent to USD 2,142 a tonne on the London Metal Exchange.
