At the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery this month rose 15 paise to INR100.20 per kg in a business turnover of 183 lots. Metal for delivery in April also rose by a similar margin to trade at INR102.15 per kg in 10 lots.
Market analysts said the rise in aluminium prices in futures trade was mostly due to a firming trend in base metals at the LME and rising demand at the domestic spot market here.
