Operations were not interrupted while relocating to the new facility, allowing AMP to provide continued and seamless services to its customer base throughout the process.
Equipped with modern technologies and Research and Development (R&D) teams, the laboratory offers a variety of technical support in aluminium can packaging and material testing. These include evaluation of material compatibility with new beverage formulations, detailed defect analysis and investigation, testing food safety and regulatory compliance and performance assessment of packaging materials.
Such functions are essential in ensuring product safety and maintaining high-quality standards in the beverage can industry.
A notable feature of the new facility is its in-house can-filling system, which replicates real production conditions. It enables AMP to conduct practical tests, optimise processes and reinforce the development of innovative and reliable packaging solutions tailored to customer requirements.
AMP’s Bonn laboratory positions the company to play a stronger role in shaping the future of the aluminium beverage can industry by reinforcing its service ecosystem while preparing for evolving market demands through innovation and technical excellence.
