
On Monday, September 14, aluminium alloys (ADC12) price has extended its growth by RMB 100 per tonne from RMB 14,200 per tonne to RMB 14,300 per tonne, despite the plummet in A00 aluminium ingot price, according to the Shanghai Metals Market. The average aluminium alloys (ADC12) prices are expected to range between RMB 14,200 per tonne and RMB 14,400 per tonne.

In the east and south, the price has increased by RMB 100 per tonne as well to stand at RMB 14,300 per tonne and RMB 14,100 per tonne, respectively, while that in the southwest has inched up by RMB 50 per tonne to come in at RMB 14,050 per tonne.
Aluminium alloy (A380) price has also increased by RMB 100 per tonne to RMB 15,200 per tonne on September 14, with average prices expected to range between RMB 15,100 per tonne and RMB 15,300 per tonne. But the price of aluminium alloy (A356) has remained restrained at RMB 15,200 per tonne, with average prices to continue to range between RMB 15,150 per tonne and RMB 15,250 per tonne.
A00 aluminium ingot price has recorded a downfall of RMB 30 per tonne to RMB 14,580 per tonne, as of September 14, following a growth of RMB 30 per tonne on the previous day, learned SMM. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 14,560 per tonne and RMB 14,660 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 40-80 per tonne, up RMB 30 per tonne from September 11.

Some of the Chinese cities today have seen declines, while some have witnessed no change. In Shenyang, A00 aluminium ingot price has plunged by RMB 40 per tonne to come in at RMB 14,565 per tonne; in Hangzhou, the price declined by RMB 25 per tonne to RMB 14,590 per tonne; in Foshan by RMB 20 per tonne to RMB 14,680 per tonne and that in Gongyi and Wuxi by RMB 15 per tonne and RMB 10 per tonne to respectively stand at RMB 14,470 per tonne and RMB 14,580 per tonne.
As far as the aluminium input costs are concerned, imported alumina price has dwindled by RMB 25 per tonne to stand at RMB 2,350 per tonne, while the price of Australian alumina FOB has shrunk by US$ 6 per tonne to come in at US$ 269 per tonne.
