Alumina output of Jamaica down in January

The total production of raw bauxite in Jamaica was 390,550 tonnes in the month of January, a fall by 15% since the last year.
Meanwhile, there has been an increase in alumina production by 13% to around 164,500 tonnes on prior comparable period.
There was a drop in the total production of raw bauxite in the country to around 4.68 million tonnes last year and it was down by 1.7%.
