AlCircle stands out with its unique range of exhibits at Aluminium India 2015

Aluminium India 2015 concluded successfully after playing host to a congregation of global aluminium industry players from 7 to 9 September in Mumbai. Given the fact that aluminium industry is currently going through a challenging phase, this international exhibition-cum-conference held at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai served as an apt platform for domestic and international industry players to network, brainstorm ideas and opportunities and showcase their cutting-edge technologies and applications in front of a global audience.

The three day event, which covered every part of the aluminium industry value chain right from Raw Materials and Aluminium Processing Machinery to Aluminium Extrusions and End User segments, saw leading industry figures coming under one roof. There were over 120 exhibitors and the turnout was decent.

There was also a parallel Conference session organized by Reed SI Exhibitions which played host to a number of noted speakers from the aluminium value chain. The conference was inaugurated by the Keynote Address of Mr. Satish Pai, DMD, Hindalco on a global perspective on the Aluminium Industry.

There was a presentation by Mr. Kshemendra Nath – Managing Director – Sapa India on the Emerging Trends in the Aluminium Extrusion Sector. Dr. A.K. Mukhopadhyay from DMRL highlighted the potential of Aluminium in Defence Applications. Stefan Glimm, Chief Executive Director, EAFA and Flexible Packaging Europe talked about the Role of Aluminium Packaging in Maintaining a Sustainable Lifestyle.

Helio Lima, Director Can Sales from Novelis highlighted the prospects of Aluminium Beverage Can market in India. The bauxite and alumina sector was highlighted by IBAAS. Dr. Anupam Agnihotri, Director JNARDDC emphasized on the importance of R&D in Aluminium in India.

AlCircle, like previous years, made its presence felt in the Aluminium India 2015 as the privileged media partner and exhibitor.
