Acer Japan has introduced four models in its Swift Air 14 laptop series, featuring all-aluminium bodies, 14-inch displays and lightweight designs aimed at users seeking portability and everyday computing performance. The laptops measure approximately 12.99 mm thick and weigh around 1.18 kg, with CNC diamond-cut processing used on the lid.

The four models - SFA14-I31-A38Y, SFA14-I31-A32Y, SFA14-I31-A58Y and SFA14-I31-A52Y - differ in specifications, including processor and memory configurations. The range offers Intel Core 3 Processor 304 and Intel Core 5 Processor 320 options, both equipped with integrated Intel AI Boost technology.

Aluminium construction and display specifications

The Swift Air 14 features an all-metal aluminium chassis designed to combine a slim profile with a lightweight build. Its hinge opens through 180 degrees, allowing the display to lie flat when required.

All four models feature a 14-inch non-glare IPS display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and WUXGA resolution of 1,920 × 1,200 pixels. The screen covers 100% of the sRGB colour gamut and supports a 120 Hz refresh rate.

Memory configurations include 8 GB and 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, while the models share a 512 GB PCIe NVMe solid-state drive.

AI processing and connectivity features

The laptops use Intel processors with integrated AI Boost neural processing units. The Core 3 configuration delivers up to 15 TOPS of NPU performance, while the Core 5 option reaches up to 16 TOPS.

Connectivity includes two USB4 Type-C ports supporting Thunderbolt 4, USB Power Delivery and video output, alongside one USB 3.2 Type-A port and a headset jack. Wireless connectivity is provided through Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.

The laptops run Windows 11 Home (64-bit) and include AcerSense utility software. Security features include a Full HD infrared webcam supporting Windows Hello facial recognition, together with a physical privacy shutter.

Four built-in speakers support DTS Ultra and Acer TrueHarmony audio technologies.

Battery life and colour options

Each Swift Air 14 model features a 70 Wh lithium-ion battery, with Acer specifying approximately 12 hours of battery life. The company also lists fast-charging support, with a 100 W USB-C power adapter capable of charging the battery to up to 50% in 30 minutes under specified conditions.

All four models are available in sage green. Pink, blue and purple colour options are scheduled to follow at a later date.

The launch expands Acer Japan's Swift Air 14 range with multiple hardware configurations built around a shared aluminium chassis, display and connectivity platform.
