A00 ingot prices inch higher in major China markets; alumina drops in North and Central China

The average prices for A00 Aluminium Ingot for all major Chinese markets (North, South, North-East and South-West) have registered a rise for two consecutive days. The average prices for A00 ingot have registered a price growth of 0.40% to 0.65 % today.

On July 13 2017, among the domestic markets, the average price for A00 Aluminium Ingot for North China market has increased to RMB 14,040/t.

The price in East China market (Zhejiang) jumped to RMB14,060/t on July 13 and for Jiangsu province it increased to RMB14,050/t.

For the Northeast China market, the price increased to RMB 14,000/t and for the Southwest China market, the price increased to RMB 14,020/t on July 13.

For the first time in last three months, average prices of A00 ingot have crossed the 14,000 mark in all the major markets on the same day.

A00 Aluminium Ingot in spot China market is trading at discounts of RMB 70 - 30/t.

As on July 13, average price for Aluminium Alloy (A380) in China remains unchanged at RMB 15,600/t. Aluminium Alloy (A356) price increased from RMB 14,650/t to stand at RMB 14,700/t and is expected to move within a range of RMB 14,650- 14,750/t.

As for the raw materials in the China market are concerned, bauxite and prebaked anode prices have registered no change today and so are other prime raw materials.

Spot alumina prices in Central and North China market dropped from RMB 2,570/t to RMB 2,560/t.
