
Following a jump of RMB 190 per tonne, the "A00 aluminium ingot price" has recorded a marginal rise today, on May 12, found the "Shanghai Metals Market". Data shows the primary aluminium ingot price has increased by RMB 10 per tonne to stand at RMB 13,040 per tonne on May 12. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 13,020 per tonne and RMB 13,060 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a discount and premium price of RMB 10 per tonne to RMB 30 per tonne.

Wuxi and Linyi provinces in China have seen a rise of RMB 20 per tonne in "A00 aluminium ingot price today" to stand at RMB 13,030 per tonne and RMB 13,180 per tonne, respectively. In Shenyang and Chongqing, the price has increased by RMB 15 per tonne and RMB 10 per tonne to RMB 13,035 per tonne and RMB 13,060 per tonne, while that in many other provinces has recorded plunges such as in Gongyi and Tianjin, where the ingot price has declined by RMB 45 per tonne and RMB 30 per tonne to respectively hover at RMB 13,140 per tonne and RMB 12,990 per tonne. In Hangzhou and Foshan, the price has decreased by RMB 15 per tonne and RMB 10 per tonne.
As far as the input costs are concerned, the bauxite (6.5≤Al/Si<7.5) price in Guangxi and Guizhou has recorded a fall of RMB 10 per tonne and RMB 20 per tonne to stand at RMB 280 per tonne and RMB 360 per tonne.
The bauxite (6.0≤Al/Si<7.0) price in Shanxi and Henan, on the other hand, has remained restrained at RMB 540 per tonne and RMB 520 per tonne. The other aluminium raw materials prices, such as alumina and prebaked anode, have also chosen to remain unchanged today at RMB 2,211 per tonne and 2,700 per tonne, respectively.
