
A00 aluminium ingot price has continued to fall for the fourth consecutive day by RMB 180 per tonne to stand at RMB 14,720 per tonne on Thursday, January 14, found the Shanghai Metals Market. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 14,700 per tonne and RMB 14,740 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 20-60 per tonne, up by RMB 40 per tonne on the previous day.

In Gongyi, the primary aluminium ingot price has decreased by RMB 180 per tonne as well to come in at RMB 14,600 per tonne; while in Chongqing, the price has plunged by RMB 105 per tonne to RMB 14,725 per tonne. In Foshan and Tianjin, A00 aluminium ingot price has declined by RMB 100 per tonne to come in at RMB 14,720 per tonne and 14,770 per tonne, respectively. The price in Linyi and Shenyang has edged lower by RMB 90 per tonne and RMB 80 per tonne to RMB 14,840 per tonne and RMB 14,780 per tonne, respectively, and that in Hangzhou and Wuxi has dropped by RMB 75 per tonne and RMB 50 per tonne to RMB 14,780 per tonne and RMB 14,790 per tonne.
Aluminium alloy (A356) price has lost RMB 150 per tonne to come below RMB 15,500 per tonne. As of Thursday, January 14, aluminium alloys (A356) price is standing at RMB 15,450 per tonne, with average prices expected to range between RMB 15,400 per tonne and RMB 15,500 per tonne.

The prices of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) have decreased relatively slower by RMB 100 per tonne to come in at RMB 16,650 per tonne and RMB 17,550 per tonne, respectively.
Among the primary aluminium input costs, bauxite (4.5≤Al/Si<5.5) price in Henan has dipped by RMB 7.5 per tonne to stand at RMB 332.5 per tonne, as of January 14. The average prices are expected to hover around RMB 315 per tonne and RMB 350 per tonne.
Aluminium powder price has inched down by RMB 0.20 per kg to RMB 18.25 per kg on January 14, found SMM.
