A00 aluminium ingot price in China slumps by RMB140/t; Average alumina spot price dips by RMB4/t
On Wednesday, September 21, A00 aluminium ingot price in China slumped by RMB 140 per tonne to halt at RMB 18,550 per tonne, with the average prices ranging between RMB 18,530 per tonne and RMB 18,570 per tonne. The spot contract price is expected to be traded at a discount price of RMB 70 to RMB 30 per tonne.
The prices in Chongqing, Hangzhou and Wuxi dropped by RMB 140 per tonne to record at RMB 18,600 per tonne, RMB 18,560 per tonne and RMB 18,540 per tonne. On the same day, the price in Foshan descended by RMB 130 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,550 per tonne. The A00 aluminium ingot price in Tianjin and Gongyi dipped by RMB 110 per tonne to peg at RMB 18,600 per tonne and RMB 18,470 per tonne. Shenyang and Linyi witnessed a price cut of RMB 100 per tonne and RMB 90 per tonne to close at RMB 18,530 per tonne and RMB 18,600 per tonne.
The average alumina spot price went down by RMB 4 per tonne to halt at RMB 2,914 per tonne. The price in Guangxi and Guizhou dipped by RMB 15 per tonne and RMB 10 per tonne to come in at RMB 2,890 per tonne and RMB 2,880 per tonne. In Henan, the price went down by RMB 5 per tonne to rest at RMB 2,995 per tonne.
The domestic price of low carbon aluminium in China has contracted by RMB 130 per tonne to record at RMB 19,153 per tonne.
The high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price lost RMB 100 per tonne to score at RMB 26,700 per tonne and RMB 27,700 per tonne.
The aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price slipped by RMB 100 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,350 per tonne and RMB 20,350 per tonne. The average price for the former is expected to range between RMB 19,250 per tonne and RMB 19,450 per tonne. For aluminium alloy (A380), the average price will likely be between RMB 20,250 per tonne and RMB 20,450 per tonne. For aluminium alloy (A356), the price has gained RMB 150 per tonne to score at RMB 19,950 per tonne, with the average price likely to orbit between RMB 19,800 per tonne and RMB 20,100 per tonne.
