A00 aluminium ingot price in China grows by RMB140/t; Low carbon aluminium price gains RMB138/t

On Wednesday, November 9, A00 aluminium ingot price in China hiked by RMB 140 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,610 per tonne, with the average prices ranging between RMB 18,590 per tonne and RMB 18,630 per tonne. The spot contract price is expected to be traded at a discount price of RMB 20 to a premium price of RMB 20 per tonne.

The prices in Tianjin and Shenyang have increased by RMB 170 per tonne and RMB 150 per tonne to score at RMB 18,590 per tonne and RMB 18,550 per tonne. As per the SMM data, A00 aluminium ingot price in Foshan, Wuxi and Hangzhou has gone up by RMB 140 per tonne to stand at RMB 18,820 per tonne, RMB 18,590 per tonne and RMB 18,650 per tonne. Chongqing and Linyi's prices closed at RMB 18,770 per tonne and RMB 18,660 per tonne after recording a growth of RMB 120 per tonne and RMB 110 per tonne. On the same day, the A00 aluminium ingot price in Gongyi climbed up by RMB 70 per tonne to peg at RMB 18,530 per tonne.

The domestic price of low carbon aluminium in China has surged by RMB 138 per tonne to halt at RMB 19,422 per tonne. The high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price both experienced growth of RMB 100 per tonne to clock at RMB 26,900 per tonne and RMB 27,900 per tonne.

Aluminium alloy (A356) price has hiked by RMB 150 per tonne to come in at RMB 19,850 per tonne. The average price may be between RMB 19,700 per tonne and RMB 20,000 per tonne. However, aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) has shown no change to halt at RMB 19,100 per tonne and RMB 20,100 per tonne.

The price of aluminium powder has inched up by RMB 0.1 per kg to close at RMB 20.3 per kg, with the average prices standing between RMB 20.2 per kg and RMB 20.4 per kg.
