
According to the Shanghai Metals Market, A00 aluminium ingot price in China has continued to grow by RMB 20 per tonne to come in at RMB 18,390 per tonne on Wednesday, May 26. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 18,370 per tonne and RMB 18,410 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 0-40 per tonne.

However, the hike today in A00 aluminium ingot price has not touched upon all the major markets in China. For instance, in Wuxi and Hangzhou, the price has decreased by RMB 35 per tonne to stand at RMB 18,375 per tonne and RMB 18,385 per tonne, respectively. In Linyi, primary aluminium ingot price has dipped by RMB 10 per tonne to RMB 18,500 per tonne, while the price in Chongqing has remained muted at RMB 18,420 per tonne.
Shenyang and Gongyi have witnessed a rise in A00 aluminium ingot price of RMB 30 per tonne and RMB 20 per tonne to RMB 18,420 per tonne and RMB 18,380 per tonne, respectively. In Foshan and Tianjin, the price has inched up by RMB 10 per tonne to RMB 18,570 per tonne and RMB 18,400 per tonne.
Aluminium alloys prices have remained restrained. Aluminium alloys (ADC12) price has continued to hover at RMB 19,100 per tonne, while aluminium alloy (A380) and aluminium alloy (A356) prices have remained restrained at RMB 20,100 per tonne and RMB 19,050 per tonne, respectively.
Primary aluminium input costs have neither registered any changes. Alumina, prebaked anode, and bauxite prices have remained restrained at RMB 2,449 per tonne, RMB 4,397.50 per tonne, and RMB 540 per tonne, respectively.
