Aditya Aluminium renders support to Jharsuguda district administration in COVID-19 combat
Aditya Birla Group company Aditya Aluminium has rendered its support to the Jharsuguda district administration for combating the COVID-19 crisis. According to a report, the smelter-power plant has donated 10 oxygen concentrators, 200 N95 masks, 200 PPE kits, 100 double-layered Sambalpuri cotton masks to the district administration.
The company unit head Sameer Nayak handed over the materials to Collector Saroj Kumar Samal in presence of Dr Vivekanand Mishra, unit HR head; Satya Das, ER head; Sweta Upadhayay, CSR head; Bijaya Kumura, HR manager and Manoranjan Behera, CSR Asst Manager among many others.
Besides this, Aditya Aluminium has been providing its support to the Sambalpur district administration, Rengali block administration, and the community at large for the past 18 months. It provided ambulances, ICU beds, masks, sanitisers, and also created awareness about the virus in the region.
