
According to the Shanghai Metals Market, A00 aluminium ingot price has extended growth for the second consecutive day by RMB 80 per tonne on Thursday, December 17, to stand at RMB 16,730 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 16,710 per tonne and RMB 16,750 per tonne, with the spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 250-290 per tonne.

In Hangzhou and Linyi, A00 aluminium ingot price has expanded by RMB 100 per tonne to come in at RMB 16,740 per tonne and RMB 16,690 per tonne, respectively, while that in Wuxi has increased by RMB 90 per tonne to stand at RMB 16,750 per tonne. In Gongyi, Foshan, and Shenyang, A00 aluminium ingot price has hiked by RMB 80 per tonne to RMB 16,530 per tonne, RMB 16,850 per tonne, and RMB 16,690 per tonne. In Chongqing, the primary aluminium ingot price is up by RMB 75 per tonne to RMB 16,715 per tonne, and in Tianjin, the price has increased by RMB 70 per tonne to RMB 16,710 per tonne.
The price of aluminium alloy (A356) has again increased by RMB 100 per tonne today to peg at RMB 17,350 per tonne, according to SMM. The average prices estimated to range between RMB 17,300 per tonne and RMB 17,400 per tonne.
Aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have, however, remained restrained at RMB 17,400 per tonne and RMB 18,300 per tonne, respectively.
Among the primary aluminium input costs, only aluminium powder price has registered a hike of RMB 0.10 per kg to stand at RMB 20.15 per kg, found SMM.
