
A00 aluminium ingot price in China has extended downfall by RMB 100 per tonne to stand at RMB 15,770 per tonne on Wednesday, December 30, marking the third consecutive day of decline, according to the Shanghai Metals Market. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 15,750 per tonne and RMB 15,790 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 60-100 per tonne, down by RMB 70 per tonne from the previous day.

In Foshan, the price has declined the highest by RMB 160 per tonne to RMB 15,890 per tonne on December 30, followed by the fall of RMB 130 per tonne in Chongqing to RMB 15,780 per tonne. In Tianjin and Wuxi, A00 aluminium ingot price has decreased by RMB 120 per tonne and RMB 110 per tonne, respectively, to come in at RMB 15,770 per tonne and RMB 15,740 per tonne. The primary aluminium ingot price in Linyi is also standing at RMB 15,770 per tonne. In Gongyi and Hangzhou, A00 aluminium ingot price has shrunk by RMB 100 per tonne to RMB 15,680 per tonne and RMB 15,760 per tonne, while the price in Shenyang has dropped by RMB 60 per tonne to settle at RMB 15,795 per tonne on December 30.
The price of aluminium alloy (A356) has also decreased by RMB 100 per tonne to stand at RMB 16,450 per tonne, as of December 30. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 16,400 per tonne and RMB 16,500 per tonne.
Aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price have plunged by RMB 50 per tonne to peg at RMB 17,200 per tonne and RMB 18,100 per tonne, found SMM.
Among the input costs, imported alumina price in China has grown for the second day in a row by RMB 25 per tonne to RMB 2,400 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 2,380 per tonne and RMB 2,420 per tonne. Australian alumina FOB price has remained restrained at US$ 302 per tonne.
Aluminium powder price has slipped by RMB 0.10 per tonne to clock at RMB 19.35 per tonne on December 30.
