As an independent family-run business, we have 100 years of experience and extensive resources to draw on, and therefore look to the future with confidence. Our decision to focus on the material aluminium in the early days has since allowed us to develop into a leading European manufacturer of aluminium wire. We have been working intensively on producing aluminium alloy welding fillers for half a century now. The origin of Drahtwerk Elisental dates back to the year 1919. At that time Willi Erdmann took over a small factory in Neuenrade where resistance wire was produced. Following first modernisation and extensions the production was expanded to include stapling and binding wire as well as bright and enamelled copper wire.
