Market dynamics and forecast:
Overall, the aluminium profile export market operated steadily, with most enterprises focusing on maintaining orders from long-established customers. According to the SMM survey, some small and medium-sized enterprises in Shandong and Hunan are actively exploring new clients in Southeast Asia and Africa, but actual transactions in August fell short of expectations, and no significant progress has been made in new market development. For construction extrusion, enterprises in Hebei, Shandong, and Anhui reported that export orders have become an important supplement to their building materials business. Among them, some enterprises in Shandong and Hebei noted differentiated features in their door and window extrusion products exported to Southeast Asia, with some reporting wall thickness of only 75 per cent to 90 per cent of domestic standards, indicating that products for Southeast Asia remain relatively low-end compared to domestic ones. For industrial extrusion, a medium-sized enterprise in Anhui reported an increase in orders for industrial equipment parts exported to Russia in August, supporting profile exports from the Anhui region. Some medium-sized enterprises in Shandong and Tianjin focused on the high-end market, with deep-processed products exported to Europe accounting for a large share of their export orders. Looking ahead to September, most enterprises stated that exports would still rely mainly on orders from long-established customers, with few new export orders, and aluminium profile exports are expected to remain stable.
