According to Shanghai Metals Exchange, the SMM A00 aluminium ingot price has descended by RMB 340 per tonne to officially close at RMB 20,750 per tonne, with the average prices ranging between RMB 20,730 per tonne and RMB 20,770 per tonne.
The eight main provinces in China have all witnessed declining aluminium prices today, with the highest fall of RMB 350 per tonne recorded in Foshan where the aluminium price stood at RMB 20,680 per tonne, followed by RMB 340 per tonne slump in Chongqing, with the price halting at RMB 20,720 per tonne. In Wuxi, Hangzhou and Shenyang, the aluminium prices plunged by RMB 310 per tonne each to close at RMB 20,770 per tonne in the first two and RMB 20,700 per tonne in the last one. The aluminium prices in Gongyi and Linyi have both decreased by RMB 290 per tonne to park at RMB 20,680 per tonne and RMB 20,800 per tonne. Lastly, in Tianjin, there has been a loss of RMB 210 per tonne with the aluminium price reaching RMB 20,800 per tonne.
China’s low carbon aluminium price has dived by RMB 276 per tonne to close at RMB 21,766 per tonne.
The price of high-purity aluminium (99.99%) and the price of high-purity aluminium (99.996%) both have discarded RMB 300 per tonne to officiate at RMB 28,200 per tonne and RMB 29,200 per tonne.
China’s alumina spot price has stopped at RMB 3,815 per tonne, with a spike of RMB 42 per tonne. In Shandong, Henan, Guizhou and Bayuquan, the alumina prices have soared by RMB 50 per tonne to close at RMB 3,790 per tonne, RMB 3,810 per tonne, RMB 3,815 per tonne and RMB 3,880 per tonne. The alumina price in Lianyungang has gained RMB 45 per tonne to close at RMB 3,870 per tonne. The alumina prices in Shanxi and Guangxi have both escalated by RMB 30 per tonne to close at RMB 3,825 per tonne and RMB 3,850 per tonne, respectively.
The price of aluminium alloy (A356) has negated RMB 350 per tonne to arrive at RMB 21,250 per tonne.
China’s aluminium powder price has lost RMB 0.30 per kg to stop at RMB 23.50 per kg, with average prices ranging between RMB 23.40 per kg and RMB 23.60 per kg.
