On Friday, August 9, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price surged by RMB 230 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,010 per tonne. The average price ranged between RMB 18,990 per tonne and RMB 19,030 per tonne. The spot contract price may be traded at a discount of RMB 70 to RMB 30 per tonne.
{alcircleadd}As per the SMM data, the domestic aluminium ingot prices have hiked in all the provinces, with the highest being in Gongyi, Foshan, Wuxi, and Hangzhou. The prices in the region mentioned have surged by RMB 230 per tonne to reside at RMB 18,930 per tonne, RMB 18970 per tonne and RMB 19,010 per tonne. In the other areas like Linyi, Shenyang and Tianjin the A00 aluminium ingot price have expanded by RMB 200 per tonne and RMB 180 per tonne to come in at RMB 19,010 per tonne, RMB 18,960 per tonne and RMB 18,990 per tonne.
The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has also shot up by RMB 232 per tonne to RMB 19,926 per tonne. On the same day, the prices of high-purity aluminium (99.99%) and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) gained RMB 200 per tonne to RMB 26,200 per tonne and RMB 27,200 per tonne, respectively.
According to the Shanghai Metals Market analysis, the price of aluminium alloy (A356) has ascended by RMB 250 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,450 per tonne, with the average prices ranging between RMB 19,300 per tonne and RMB 19,600 per tonne. For (ADC12) and (A380) the prices have gained RMB 100 per tonne to halt at RMB 19,650 per tonne and RMB 20,650 per tonne. For (ADC12) the average prices may stand between RMB 19,550 per tonne and RMB 19,750 per tonne. For (A380) the average price is expected to stand between RMB 20,550 per tonne and RMB 20,750 per tonne.
