The Board of National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), a Navratna PSU under Ministry of Mines, Government of India, has been strengthened with the appointment of Shri Madhukar Gupta, IAS (retd) and Shri Ghanshyam Hiralal Amin as Independent Directors for a period of three years.
Shri Gupta is the Former Union Home Secretary and Shri Amin is the Vice-President of National Cooperative Union of India. With four other Independent Directors already on NALCO Board, the strength of such Directors has gone up to six. Still there are two more vacancies to be filled in.
