LME aluminium benchmark price expands to US$2,187.50/t; SHFE price gains US$26/t
LME aluminium opened at US$2,211.5 per tonne on Thursday, with its low at US$2,211 per tonne before closing at US$2,263.5 per tonne, up US$50.5 per tonne or 2.28 per cent.
On Thursday, June 8, both LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price hiked by US$19 per tonne or 0.87 per cent and US$18.5 per tonne or 0.85 per cent to halt at US$2,187 per tonne and US$2,187.50 per tonne.
3-month bid price and 3-month offer price grew by US$13 per tonne or 0.58 per cent and US$12 per tonne or 0.54 per cent to reside at US$2,226 per tonne and US$2,227 per tonne.
December 24 bid price and December 24 offer price moved up by US$9 per tonne to stop at US$2,382 per tonne and US$2,387 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock closed at 582125 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants settled at 316475 tonnes and 265650 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price ascended by US$8.73 per tonne or 0.39 per cent to close at US$2,228 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
On June 9, the SHFE aluminium price has expanded by US$26 per tonne or 1 per cent to clock at US$2,616 per tonne.
The most-traded SHFE 2307 aluminium contract opened at RMB 18,220 per tonne overnight and rose to RMB 18,365 per tonne before closing at RMB 18,340 per tonne, up RMB 160 per tonne or 0.88 per cent.
