On Friday, September 22, A00 aluminium ingot price in China gained RMB 90 per tonne to close at RMB 19,740 per tonne, with the average prices between RMB 19,720 per tonne and RMB 19,760 per tonne. The spot contract price is expected to be traded at a premium price of RMB 210 per tonne to RMB 250 per tonne.
The domestic aluminium ingot prices have shown changes in all the provinces. To begin with, the prices in Linyi and Chongqing have expanded by RMB 160 per tonne and RMB 140 per tonne to halt at RMB 19,650 per tonne and RMB 19,530 per tonne. As per the Shanghai Metals Market (SMM) data, the prices in Gongyi and Foshan have gained RMB 90 per tonne to close at RMB 19,630 per tonne and RMB 19,490 per tonne. On the same day, the prices in Wuxi and Hangzhou have also experienced the same price hike to clock at RMB 19,740 per tonne. In Tianjin, the price has increased by RMB 90 per tonne to reach RMB 19,760 per tonne. In Shenyang, it has ascended by RMB 60 per tonne to rest at RMB 19,660 per tonne.
The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has grown by RMB 95 per tonne to peg at RMB 20,271 per tonne. The high-purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) price have surged by RMB 100 per tonne to peg at RMB 27,200 per tonne and RMB 28,200 per tonne.
As per the SMM data, the average alumina spot price has climbed up by RMB 5 per tonne to reside at RMB 2,946 per tonne. On the M-o-M calculation, a growth of RMB 34 per tonne was recorded from RMB 2,912 per tonne on August 22. As of today, the alumina price in Guangxi has hiked by RMB 10 per tonne to halt at RMB 2,955 per tonne. In Shandong and Guizhou, the prices have also added RMB 5 per tonne to settle at RMB 2,920 per tonne and RMB 2,930 per tonne.
The aluminium alloy (A356) price has increased by RMB 100 per tonne to close at RMB 20,400 per tonne, with the average prices between RMB 20,200 per tonne and RMB 20,600 per tonne. The prices of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and (A380) have shown no change to halt at RMB 19,750 per tonne and RMB 20,750 per tonne.
