The Shanghai Metals Market (SMM) on Friday, August 25, reported that China's A00 aluminium ingot price has gained RMB20 per tonne to score at RMB 18,830 per tonne, with the average prices standing between RMB 18,810 per tonne and RMB 18,850 per tonne. The spot contract price is expected to be traded at a premium price of RMB 170 per tonne and RMB 210 per tonne.
The domestic aluminium ingot prices have expanded by RMB 380 per tonne M-o-M from RMB 18,340 per tonne recorded on July 25. As of today, the price in Gongyi has hiked by RMB 30 per tonne to settle at RMB 18,720 per tonne. The prices in Hangzhou, Chongqing and Linyi have ascended by RMB 20 per tonne to reside at RMB 18,830 per tonne, RMB 18,810 per tonne and RMB 18,830 per tonne.
In Wuxi, the price has moved up by RMB 10 per tonne to come in at RMB 18,850 per tonne. Tianjin's price has lost RMB 10 per tonne to clock at RMB 18,770 per tonne. On the other hand, the prices in Shenyang and Foshan have remained the same at RMB 18,670 per tonne and RMB 18,760 per tonne.
The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has dropped by RMB 26 per tonne, settling at RMB 19,422 per tonne. The aluminium alloys (ADC12) price, aluminium alloy (A356) and aluminium alloy (A380) have shown no change to close at RMB 19,200 per tonne, RMB 19,450 per tonne and RMB 20,200 per tonne.
