During our annual conference, we shared an important update: the CIFE headquarters have been moved next to the main headquarters of Foundry Ecocer. This strategic choice will allow us to work in a more direct and synergic way. CIFE, a historic manufacturer of industrial furnaces and systems, is controlled by Foundry Ecocer and represents a fundamental piece that completes our range of solutions for the non-ferrous foundry.
Foundry Ecocer boasts one of the most complete range of solutions for the non-ferrous foundry, covering the entire supply chain of aluminum, its alloys, copper alloys, zinc and all non-ferrous metals.
The integration of CIFE, a company specialised in the production of industrial furnaces, represents a fundamental strategic step: with this synergy we improve our offer, being able to propose a complete system that goes from basic products - such as degassing agents and refiners - to self-fusing tablets and master alloys, in addition to the furnaces necessary for their production.
With CIFE we also aim to develop a new generation of high-efficiency burners, capable of significantly reducing energy consumption compared to current standards. Our goal is clear: to contribute to the transition towards a circular economy, focusing on aluminum recycling. Consider that, compared to an energy consumption of 100 for primary aluminum, recycling requires only 5 per cent of the energy.
In a European context in which energy is increasingly scarce and expensive, recycling represents the only possible path. Aluminum is a material that is practically infinitely recyclable, without loss of quality, and with extremely low energy costs. To make this vision a reality, it will be essential to access funds dedicated to the development of sustainable technologies.
