“We are proud to support Aluminium Dunkerque as it enters the world of sports sponsorship and to have initiated this wonderful alliance with LOSC”, stated Xavier ODDONE, Managing Director SPORTFIVE France.

About the collaboration

As the first collaboration of its kind within the aluminium sector and possibly the entire industry, Aluminium Dunkerque has teamed up with LOSC, a top Ligue 1 club, to amplify its regional presence. This alliance brings together two prominent entities in the Hauts-de-France region, uniting to boost the area's profile and strengthen their local commitment through this groundbreaking partnership.

The partnership also provides the company with access to the general public ticket office and hospitality services during home Champions League matches. Additionally, Aluminium Dunkerque will benefit from the players' collective image rights.

About Aluminium Dunkerque

Aluminium Dunkerque has firmly positioned itself as a European leader in the production of low-carbon primary aluminium, a critical metal for driving environmental change. The company is deeply committed to eco-responsibility, with decarbonising its operations at the core of its development strategy.

By prioritising sustainability, Aluminium Dunkerque aims to contribute to a more environmentally conscious industry, addressing the urgent need to reduce CO2 emissions. This approach reflects the company's dedication to playing an active role in the ecological transition while maintaining its competitiveness on a global scale.

Youssef EL HARIRI, Managing Director of Aluminium Dunkerque, said, “Aluminium Dunkerque is very proud to be a partner of LOSC for the coming season and, in particular, to support the team in the preliminary phase of the Champions League. We are delighted to support the great momentum that has taken Les Dogues to this level and the challenges that await them in what is a very tough group. Determined as we are to tackle major challenges such as the decarbonisation of our business, we are well aware of the road ahead and wish them every success in this adventure, as we do in Ligue 1!”

Olivier LÉTANG, Chairman of LOSC, added, “LOSC is delighted that Aluminium Dunkerque is associating its image and forming a partnership with the club as part of this UEFA Champions League campaign. We are delighted to welcome this major industrial player based in our region, which is also one of the world leaders in its field. This alliance illustrates LOSC's ever-stronger roots in the region and alongside local players who make the region shine. LOSC also appreciates Aluminium Dunkerque's eco-responsible approach, which is at the heart of its strategy and development. With these shared values of proximity, excellence, innovation and responsible commitment, this collaboration makes perfect sense. I would like to thank Aluminium Dunkerque and its management team for their confidence.”
