On Wednesday, February 1, A00 aluminium ingot price in China has hiked by RMB 230 per tonne, compared to the previous day, where the price had witnessed a fall of RMB 40 per tonne. The price as of today closed at RMB 18,960 per tonne, with the spot contract price expected to be traded at a discount price of RMB 130 to RMB 90 per tonne. The average price may range between RMB 18,940 per tonne and RMB 18,980 per tonne.
The prices in Foshan, Chongqing and Linyi have ascended by RMB 230 per tonne to peg at RMB 19,000 per tonne, RMB 18,980 per tonne and RMB 18,960 per tonne. In Wuxi, the A00 aluminium ingot price has grown by RMB 225 per tonne to score at RMB 18,955 per tonne, followed by a growth of RMB 220 per tonne in Gongyi and Hangzhou, where the price halted at RMB 18,790 per tonne and RMB 18,960 per tonne. As per the SMM data, Shenyang and Tianjin recorded an increment of RMB 200 per tonne and RMB 180 per tonne to clock at RMB 18,910 per tonne and RMB 18,960 per tonne.
On the other hand, the average alumina spot price has remained restrained at RMB 2,947 per tonne. However, the price in Henan has climbed up by RMB 5 per tonne to score at RMB 2,995 per tonne, followed by a growth of RMB 35 per tonne in Lianyungang and RMB 75 per tonne in Bayuquan to close at RMB 2,925 per tonne and RMB 3,025 per tonne.
The domestic price of low carbon aluminium in China has also escalated by RMB 230 per tonne to reside at RMB 19,582 per tonne. The high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price have surged by RMB 200 per tonne to peg at RMB 26,800 per tonne and RMB 27,800 per tonne.
The aluminium alloy (A356) price has spiked by RMB 200 per tonne to clock at RMB 20,100 per tonne, with the average prices standing between RMB 19,900 per tonne and RMB 20,300 per tonne. Aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) prices have moved up by RMB 50 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,750 per tonne and RMB 20,750 per tonne.
As per the data, the average price for (ADC12) is expected to orbit between RMB 19,650 per tonne and RMB 19,850 per tonne. On the same day for (A380) the average price may range between RMB 20,650 per tonne and RMB 20,850 per tonne.
